**Calculate the Intent Score:**

Prompt
**Calculate the Intent Score:**

Use the responses from the column **"[Column with action selections]"** in the attached CSV to calculate the Intent score using the following formula:

Intent Score = ((primary action % × 3) + (secondary action % × 2) + (tertiary action % × 1)) ÷ 300%

Where:

- **Primary action %** = percentage of participants selecting **[the primary, most desired action]**
- **Secondary action %** = percentage of participants selecting **[the second most desirable action]**
- **Tertiary action %** = percentage of participants selecting **[the third most desirable action action]**
- The denominator (300%) represents the maximum possible weighted intent score

After calculating the Intent score, report where it lands on the following scale:

- **Very Good** = above 90%
- **Good** = 70–89%
- **Average** = 50–69%
- **Poor** = 30–49%
- **Very Poor** = 0–29%

Next, analyze the responses in the column **"[Column with qualitative explanations]"** in the CSV to identify common themes and provide clear, actionable suggestions for how the Intent score could be improved.

Here’s your Intent Score computed from the new CSV.

📊 Calculation (Section 1 Choices)

I treated responses as multi-select (one participant can select multiple actions). I matched the three actions (accepting tiny wording variants like “sync calendar,” “shop the look,” “watch the guide video”).

N (responses with Section 1 Choices): 101

Action selection rates

Primary – Sync your calendar: 4 / 101 → 3.96%

Secondary – Shop this look: 64 / 101 → 63.37%

Tertiary – Watch guide video: 18 / 101 → 17.82%

💬 What participants said (Section 1 Explanation)

Themes from the free-text explanations:

High “shopping” intent: Frequent mentions of clothes, options, looks and exploring items—this aligns with the strong “Shop this look” selection rate.

Low calendar intent (privacy/relevance): Multiple comments show hesitation or no need to sync a personal calendar (“I would never sync my calendar…”, “not enough events to make syncing worthwhile”).

Video as a helper, not a driver: Some see the guide video as useful to enhance the experience, but it isn’t the primary draw.

Representative snippets:

“I’d be interested in shopping and exploring different looks.”

“I would never sync my calendar to a website… I’d at least shop the look before leaving.”

“The guide video will help enhance my experience on the site.”

“See what they produce for me after the sync.”

Takeaway: Users are ready to shop; the calendar sync needs stronger value and trust cues, and video works best as contextual support.

🔧 How to improve the Intent score
1) Raise Primary action uptake (currently 3.96%)

Lead with the benefit, not the mechanism
Replace “Sync your calendar” with a value-first headline:
“Auto-plan outfits for your upcoming events (in 10s).”
Subtext: “We read event titles & dates only. No contacts, no invites, no spam.”

Offer a ‘try it first’ preview
Show a quick mock: “Next week: 2 events → 3 ready-to-shop looks.”
Add a demo GIF or sample card to reduce uncertainty before permission grant.

Reduce perceived risk and effort

OAuth one-tap (Apple/Google/Microsoft) with scoped permissions and a terse consent screen.

Let users import one event manually as an alternative to full sync.

Time the ask
Trigger the sync prompt after someone engages with 1–2 “Shop this look” interactions—moment of higher intent.

2) Convert Secondary intent into momentum (63.37%)

Make “Shop this look” a crisp primary CTA near every featured look (consistent color, strong label).

Use inline size/fit selectors and quick-add to turn exploration into an action.

Add micro-proof by the CTA: “Free returns,” “Ships today,” “4.7★ (2.1k).”

3) Use Video to unblock, not to sell (17.82%)

Place a 20–30s, captioned explainer next to complex looks or bundles (“How to style X”).

Auto-open muted & captioned; defer audio and keep the modal light.

End with a clear next step: “Add this look,” “See your size,” or “Plan with your calendar.”

🧪 How to measure the lift

Primary CTR on “Auto-plan outfits” (post-copy change) → target ≥12%.

Sync completion rate → target ≥8% of visitors who view the prompt.

Intent Score → re-run the survey; a 3–4× rise in Primary selection (to ~12–16%) should move Intent into the high-60s / low-70s (from Average → Good).
